Russian Manicure & Pedicure · Gulf Shores, Alabama
Precision,
made beautiful.
Dry, detail-obsessed Russian manicure that hugs the cuticle and lasts for weeks — hand-finished by Tasheka, one client at a time.
The artist
Hi, I’m Tasheka.
I fell for the Russian manicure because it’s the closest thing nails have to art — slow, careful, and all in the details. Five years later, I still get a little thrill when I finish a set and the cuticle line is just right.
I’m a one-woman studio here in Gulf Shores, and I like it that way. When you’re in my chair, you’re the only person I’m thinking about. No rushing, no assembly line — just good conversation, a clean and calm space, and nails you’ll keep sneaking looks at.
Whether you want something soft and barely-there or a set that turns heads, tell me what you’re dreaming up. I’d be honored to make it for you.

Why Russian manicure
Precision that lasts, without the rush.
A Russian, or dry, manicure uses an electric file instead of soaking and clipping. The result is a cleaner cuticle line, a flawless base for color, and a set that grows out beautifully instead of chipping in days.

Cuticles are gently lifted and refined for a seamless, natural-looking edge.

Questions, answered
Open the FAQ for care, deposits, timing, and first-booking details.
What exactly is a Russian manicure?
It’s a dry manicure done with a precision electric file instead of soaking and clipping. The cuticle area is gently refined, so polish sits closer to the nail for a cleaner look that grows out beautifully.
How long does it last?
Most clients get two to four weeks before a fill, often longer than a standard gel manicure — because the application is so precise, regrowth is far less noticeable.
Is it safe for my natural nails?
Yes. There’s no aggressive cutting or soaking, and every tool is properly sanitized. Done correctly, a Russian manicure is gentle and actually supports healthier nails over time.
Do you require a deposit?
A deposit is required to reserve your appointment and applies toward your service. It simply protects the time set aside just for you.
What if I need to reschedule?
No problem — just give at least 48 hours’ notice and your deposit carries to your new time.
Do I need a fill or a new set?
If the structure is healthy and balanced, book a fill. If there is lifting, damage, a major shape change, or work from another salon that needs correction, a new set or removal may be the cleaner choice.
Do you take walk-ins?
To keep every appointment unhurried and one-on-one, I work by appointment only. Booking ahead is the best way to get your preferred time.
